Barna Research tells us that by the time the kids that come through our churches reach adulthood, we are losing nearly 80 percent of them.  As adults, they disconnect from any meaningful relationship with the church.  Looking back at the youth group I grew up in, I can concur with Barna's numbers.  Obviously we need to be thinking about doing something different.

David Walters is doing that something different.  And he is happy to demonstrate it, and to share with parents and leaders the "how to's" of Raising an Anointed Generation.   While we in leadership will talk about the power of God available to us, and even quote the Apostle Paul's comments in 1 Corinthians 4.20 "The kingdom of God is not about words, but about power." few of us see that power lived out in the lives of our children and our fellow believers.

We know that a "power encounter" with God unalterably changes our lives for the better and creates lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.  What better time for that to happen to someone than when they are a child.  It will provide an anchor for their life and open them to a lifetime of serving others as Jesus did, in the power of the Holy Spirit.  That is what I desire for my children and grandchildren.

In my thirty plus years of ministry, both in the marketplace and in fifty countries around the world nothing compares to an encounter with the Living God.  Let's do all in our power to ensure that our children and their parents learn Jesus this way.  Please join us in May and bring your children.
